Here’s an interesting way to get the culture fix: we have beautifully decorated and blended our school art/music room with some interesting traditional-modern themes. On the walls, there are some elegant pictures of music divas & instruments from the old good times to the modern age era. So that students are inspired to grow their talents and skills from an early stage, thereby with the help of music, we help children developing a fine sense of creativity, rhythm and enjoyment.
The spacious music room at NPS was well equipped with a variety of classical and western musical instruments. We have some of the most popular elementary instruments like the basic beat temple block set, bongos, wrist bells, plastic finger castanets, piano, drum, harmonium, dholak, guitar, sitar, violin, santoor, sarod and xylophone etc.
Along with the music decor, the room also says hello to thoughtful artwork items placed in the room. The art room presents opportunities to students for developing varied artistic interests including woodwork, clay modeling, painting, drawing and craftwork. This is a place where children are prepared to give potential to the imagination to create their masterpieces using colours and materials. Ample opportunities are provided to the students to give expression to their imaginations and thus enhance creativity.
NPS offers a variety of materials for artwork such as feathers, glitter, felt, beads, stencils, buttons, craft sticks, string, yarn, weaving kits, and more to enhance art experiences.
Distinguished faculty trains children in both the disciplines of instrumental, vocal music & art. Art and Music education is important in the school intending to develop an interest and awareness amongst the growing peers towards the classical, semi-classical and modern forms of art & music. Art/Music is an important subject for all children to learn and can lead to better brain development, increases in human connection, and even stress relief.
