NPS has an avant-garde science lab, well-furnished, designed and equipped with the requisite technology and safety measures including extinguishers, emergency showers, and comprehensive first aid kit. The students, working with the respective science teachers are qualified and trained who make sure that the students are at ease and safe while handling acids and apparatuses doing their experiments or research without any difficulty or risk. Doing experiments in the lab helps the students to remember the studies in a better way by conducting their experiments. It gives students first-hand experience and offers better learning opportunities.
A lab is not a competition whose objective is to get the “right answer”, but the purpose is to learn how to gain knowledge, how to observe and to learn the meaning of what happens. Keeping in mind the need and essentiality of gaining knowledge by experimenting and the importance of technology in today’s world, the science lab of NPS have all new types of equipment for students so that they can understand the writing of science books in a practical way. Pieces of equipment are burettes, tongs, tweezers, forceps, test tubes, conical flasks, microscopes, specimens, slides, chemicals.
